How to check for compatibility of SSD drives with a laptop?

Hello,



I am trying to replace my optical drive with an additional SSD and have found it difficult to figure out if the ssd I have will be compatible.

My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite L50D-C-13G PART NUMBER: PSKXJE-005005EN

The motherboard specs are as follows:

Manufacturer FF50

Model 06F6

Version Base Board Version

Serial Number QC0I0PSF2102455

The SSD I have purchased is a 2.5 128gig Kingston

If someone could point me in the right direction of compatible SSD if the kingston isn't, that would be ost helpful.
